You can ask us at any time to delete the personal data we hold about you from your conversations with Aurora on WhatsApp. Here we explain how to do it and what happens next.
1. How to ask us to delete your data
Choose one of these two options:
- On WhatsApp: write “ELIMINAR MIS DATOS” (“delete my data”) to the same Aurora WhatsApp number you chatted with. You will receive an automatic acknowledgement and a member of the Sello Aurora team will handle your request. Since you are writing from your own number, you do not need to tell us what it is or confirm it.
- By email: write to privacidad@aurorard.com with the subject “Delete my data” and state the phone number you used to message us on WhatsApp.
If you ask by email, we will message that number on WhatsApp so that you can confirm the request: this way we make sure you are its owner. We delete the data once you reply.
If you also left details in the forms on this website (contact or catalog download), mention it in your email together with the email address you used, and we will delete them too.
2. Response time
We will handle your request and confirm, through the same channel, that your data has been deleted within 10 business days at most.
3. What we delete
- Your phone number and WhatsApp profile name.
- The content of your messages, and the photos and files you sent us.
- The details you gave us in the conversation: name, company and contact person, email address, visit address and day, order or quote numbers, product measurements and details.
- The status of your case (stage, store and assigned advisor). Any pending reminders are cancelled.
They are deleted from our customer service inbox (Chatwoot) and from the automation tool (n8n), hosted on Aurora’s servers. Local backups that still contain them are removed when they reach their 14-day retention period.
4. What we keep
We keep the order and invoice data we must retain for tax and accounting obligations for 10 years, and we do not use it for anything else.
The messages remain in your own WhatsApp app, where you can delete them yourself. What WhatsApp (Meta) does with your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
If you message us again after the deletion, the new messages will be treated as a new conversation.
