At Aurora Ideas Espacios (“Aurora”) we take care of the data you share with us. This policy explains what personal data we process when you message us on WhatsApp or use the forms on this website, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What this policy covers
- Conversations with Aurora on WhatsApp Business, the customer service channel that runs on WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta’s Cloud API).
- The forms on this website: the contact form and the catalog download form.
- This website’s visit statistics, which are anonymous.
3. How WhatsApp customer service works
When you message us, you are first answered by “Aurora”, an automated assistant that works with menus and keywords.
The assistant does not use artificial intelligence or make automated decisions that have legal effects on you: it only sorts your request and hands it over to our human team, “Sello Aurora”, who handles it.
4. What data we process and how we obtain it
On WhatsApp, we receive it from you when you message us and from WhatsApp, which sends us your number and profile name. Other data is generated by our system while handling your case:
- Your phone number and WhatsApp profile name.
- The content of your messages, and any photos and files you send us.
- The details you give us depending on your request: your name; the company and contact person; an email address for video calls; the address and day for a measuring visit; the order or quote number; product measurements or details.
- The date and time of the messages.
- The status of your case: stage, store and assignment to an advisor.
On this website, we receive it from you when you submit a form:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the store you choose and your message.
- Catalog download: your name, email address, the catalog you download and whether you agree to receive news.
- In both cases, the page language, the date and an encrypted fingerprint (hash) of your IP address, which does not reveal the address and helps us stop abusive submissions.
So that we do not ask for your details for every catalog, your browser remembers your name and email address on your own device. Visit statistics do not use cookies or identify you.
If you share another person’s details with us, you must have their permission.
5. What we use your data for
- To handle your WhatsApp request: information, quotes, orders, complaints, visits and business (B2B) projects.
- To assign it to the Sello Aurora team.
- To follow up on it. If you do not reply, we may send you up to 3 reminders on WhatsApp, after 2, 5 and 7 days. If you write “BAJA”, we cancel them.
- To answer the messages you send us through the contact form.
- To provide the catalogs you download and, only if you ticked the box, to send you news from Aurora by email.
- To protect the forms against abusive submissions and to know, anonymously, how many visits the website receives.
- To carry out internal quality and response-time checks.
We process your data with your consent, which you give when you message us or submit a form, and because it is necessary to prepare or fulfil what you ask us for (a quote, an order or a visit).
6. Who we share your data with
The following providers are involved in providing the service:
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp), which transmits the messages between you and Aurora. What WhatsApp does with your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Hostinger, which provides the servers (VPS) contracted by Aurora where WhatsApp data is stored. The data center is located in the United States (Virginia).
- Chatwoot, the customer service inbox, and n8n, the automation tool: two programs that Aurora hosts on those servers.
- Google Workspace, which we use for internal email notifications to our team.
- Vercel, which hosts this website and measures visits without cookies, and Neon, the database where form submissions are stored. Both operate in the United States (Virginia).
- Resend, which we use to notify our team by email of each contact form message.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
Your data is therefore stored outside the Dominican Republic, and some of these providers also process it in other countries. By messaging us or submitting a form, you agree that your data will be stored in the United States and processed by the providers listed. We choose providers that offer security and confidentiality measures.
7. How long we keep your data
- WhatsApp conversations and cases: 24 months from the last message. If the case led to an order, its data follows the period for orders and invoices.
- Contact form messages and catalog download records: 24 months from submission. If you agreed to receive news, we keep your name and email address until you unsubscribe.
- Orders and invoices: 10 years, due to tax and accounting obligations in the Dominican Republic.
- Local backups: 14 days.
8. How we protect your data
- Connections are encrypted (HTTPS).
- Only authorized staff can access the data.
- Backups are encrypted.
- We only keep an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address.
9. Your rights
You can ask us at any time for:
- Access: to know what data we hold about you.
- Rectification: to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Cancellation or erasure: to delete it.
- Objection: to stop using it for a given purpose.
- To stop receiving reminders: write “BAJA” on WhatsApp.
- To stop receiving news by email: use the unsubscribe link in the email itself or write to us.
To exercise these rights, message us on WhatsApp or write to privacidad@aurorard.com, stating your phone number or the email address you used in the form. We will reply within 10 business days at most. To request deletion, follow the data deletion instructions.

10. Minors
This service is not intended for anyone under 18. If you are a minor, ask your mother, father or guardian to contact us.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its date of update.
